In this episode I talk about wanting to get away from the winter cold of New York City. The airline I worked for had flights to The Bahamas and I took full advantage. As an adjunct to me getting away from the northeast winter wonderland, I came across a nice young lady who helped me take this short trip to a different level.

In 1983 I wanted to get away, but stay close to home, be on my own, but stay tethereed, throw caution to the wind, but only if the wind was created by a fan. So at the ripe old age of 19 I venture to Western New York to Niagara Falls...to go to college.
The church that my mother attended had a camp in the Catskills Mountains in New York. For three summers our family made the hours long journey for a repreve from city life. In this episode I talke about two events that are still etched in my memory some 50 years later. The stories of these events are told with humor, sarcasm, and sprinkled with smidge of meloncholy.
